What's new in Orion

The short version of what shipped, and what it changes for planning teams.

V3.1June 2026

Real Estate, in full.

Lease portfolio management arrives, with the analysis views to go with it.

orion.gatherwareinc.com
  • Real Estate Lease View

A lease portfolio manager for active and archived leases, with a critical-dates timeline showing spend impact and a radius map of your locations.

  • Flexible lease cost entry

Enter rent as an annual rate per SF, a monthly rate per SF, or total monthly rent, and Orion derives the rest.

  • Data validation improvements

Flagged fields now appear directly in the Data Validator with the right editor, so records get fixed in place.

  • Custom fields for projects and buildings

Tags extend to assets and leases, with single-select, multi-select, and text types, inline column editing, and filtering across the platform.

V3.0June 2026

Orion, redesigned.

A full interface refresh built around a new app shell and card layout, plus a new Infrastructure module.

  • Global search and keyboard shortcuts

Jump to any record from anywhere with ⌘K, and drive the app from the keyboard.

  • Auto-save editors with record verification

Changes save as you make them. Mark projects, buildings, and assets as reviewed, with timestamps and attribution.

  • Multi-building projects and side-drawer editing

Tie a project to more than one building, with flexible cost attribution in the Capital Forecast and resizable panels throughout.

  • Scenario planning, reimagined: Studies and Compare

Explore what-ifs over a base scenario in Studies, then put up to four scenarios side by side in Compare.

  • Infrastructure assets and forecasting

Asset Manager, the Asset Lifecycle Registry, asset-to-project linking, and budget-constrained Asset Forecasting.

  • Redesigned Report Center

Live preview, scheduled delivery, a cleaner bulk upload workflow, and an expanded Data Validator.
